As of the 1st of July 2005 Maritime Safety Queensland introduced the new BoatSafe training scheme. Courses are conducted in accordance with National Training Standards and the facility of R.P.L. ( Recognition of Prior Learning) will be available for those with skills and knowlege to reduce time spent doing a course.
